5 Ways to Reach your #Squadgoals:
Believe that You Can Do Anything
There will always be obstacles in life, it is just a matter of figuring out the best way around them. If college is your goal, grants are available, and school counselors are available to help research them for you. Working hard to get good grades and participate in extracurricular activities that you love is also a great way to expand your high school resume to get into the school you want. Didn't get in? That's ok too. Keep working toward that goal and set obtainable levels, and then re-apply after a year or two. It's never too late.
Set Yourself up for Success
Now that you've set your goal, it's time to set yourself up to getting there. Figure out what it is that you want, and the steps you will need to take to achieve your goal. Be realistic, but set your goal high enough that you have to push yourself to get there. Which leads to..
Writing It Down
Put it in writing. Make a contract with yourself, and stick to it. Post your goals up with the process of how you will achieve them on the wall in your room, your locker or your mirror next to your toothbrush to look at when you wake up and go to bed, and remind yourself of what you have committed to achieving.
Visualize Your Success
Think of your goals, and then imagine yourself at the end of your journey, successful, bright and happy. Envision yourself there, and allow yourself to feel what joy this achievement brings you. Hold onto this feeling as your work toward it. Don't give up.
Achieve your Goals
You have the power to do anything you set your mind to. Be conscious of your actions as your move forward, and how consequences of each action may affect your outcome. Work hard, and you will find success.
